Overview
Burnham Beeches is a beautiful nature reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest, known for its ancient, pollarded beech trees. It offers excellent year-round access, with an extensive range of walks and provision for those with limited mobility.
The Easy Access route is easy to navigate, with seating throughout. It includes a sensory trail with eight tactile oak sculptures. Use the benches along the route to relax, breathe in, and soak up the sounds and smells of the woodland.
A Tramper all terrain mobility scooter is available for exploring the wider site, and there are three miles of roads closed to vehicles providing additional exploration.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control and in the access walk area they must be on a lead. Guided walks and themed events are held throughout the year.
