Overview
Black Park Country Park, located in Wexham near Slough, is an accessible natural retreat ideal for disabled visitors, older adults, and families. Spanning 250 hectares, including 15.7 hectares designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, with a variety of natural habitats the park offers a gentle Access Walk around the lake, perfect for those with mobility challenges.
Facilities include ample parking, two cafes, accessible and Changing Places toilets, and attractions like Emma Salis play area and Alice’s Treehouse. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Whether you’re recovering from illness, looking for a short, confidence-building walk, or simply enjoying coffee by the lake, Black Park is a welcoming spot to reconnect with nature.

Start Point:
At Blue Badge Bays near entrance, turning right at lake.
Route:
- Exit car park, over small bridge and turn right. The access walk takes you around the lake.
- Section to the lake café is very easy. From there it is more challenging but still manageable.
